Privacy Policy
PaperFlight is a free browser game in which you fold and fly a paper airplane through a neon city. This policy explains what happens to your data while you play.
1. Information We Collect
Flying through our city requires almost no data from you. We may receive:
- Standard browser metadata sent automatically with any web request — your IP address, browser name and version, operating system, and the page that linked you here.
- Your personal best score, stored only in your browser's local storage and never transmitted anywhere.
- Completely anonymous aggregate counts such as total number of game sessions, used solely to understand how the game is used.
2. How We Use Information
We use technical data only to keep the game running smoothly, fix bugs, and understand how far players typically fly. We do not sell data, run ads, or build user profiles.
3. Local Storage
PaperFlight saves your best score locally so it persists between visits. Nothing is ever uploaded. Clearing your browser data removes it entirely.
4. Third-Party Services
Display fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Google receives a standard HTTP request from your browser when fonts load. No other third-party services are used.
5. Children's Privacy
PaperFlight contains no violence, no gambling, and nothing unsuitable for younger players. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
6. Data Retention
Server log files, if any, are kept for a limited operational period and then deleted. Locally stored gameplay data is on your device only and subject to your own browser settings.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold. Because we collect minimal data, fulfilling such requests may have limited scope in practice.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical measures to protect any data we handle. No internet transmission method is fully secure.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy we will change the date above. Continued play after an update means you accept the new terms.
